Atelier of Play - The Programme
Atelier of Play is designed as a continuous journey, not a drop‑in hobby class. Each week centres on one living theme – for example, home, food, light and shadow, friendship, seasons, or our island – and within that theme, your child meets:
Atelier of Play
• a story invitation (Story Studio)
• an art exploration (Art Atelier)
• a simple life‑science provocation (Little Lab)
These three strands echo each other, so that a child may hear a story about rain, paint with water and colour, and then play with real water outdoors in the same week. Over the year, themes follow children’s development and Hong Kong’s social rhythm – festivals, family life, changes in nature, and emotions that often appear in early childhood.
Rather than rushing through “skills”, the curriculum loops back and deepens: familiar materials return in new ways, and children are invited to revisit ideas with a slightly wider lens as they grow. Families can join at different points, but the intention is to maintain a coherent arc that supports curiosity, language, thinking, and emotional resilience throughout the year.
