Atelier of Play
Atelier of Play is a Reggio‑inspired early childhood development journey for children, accompanied by a caregiver. It is led by a behavioural therapist with a Master’s degree in neuroscience and psychology of mental health, bringing both clinical insight and deep respect for each child’s unique way of learning.
Atelier of Play
Through carefully designed, purposeful play invitations, children explore the five key domains of early development:
• Social and emotional development
• Approaches to learning (curiosity, persistence, problem‑solving)
• Language and communication
• Cognitive and perceptual skills
• Motor and physical development
Every class is a gentle, sensory‑rich experience where little ones learn through play, truly backed by love and science. Materials are open‑ended, child‑led, and responsive to the interests that emerge in the room, in line with the Reggio approach.
Atelier of Play was born out of my own arduous journey to find quality early childhood experiences on Peng Chau when my son was little. Now that he has started school, I hope to offer what I couldn’t find then—to support families in our island community with a thoughtful, evidence‑informed space where parents and children can grow, connect and feel seen.
Atelier of Play
I look forward to growing up and having fun with your family in the Atelier of Play.
Love,
Abbie
